Last year, following the excitement of the women’s World Cup, Football Australia and Football Victoria launched the “Game Changer” campaign. This initiative collaborated with all clubs to meet specific criteria, leading to the awarding of star ratings.

In 2023, our club achieved its first star by prioritizing our women’s and girls’ programs, resulting in the successful formation of all-girls teams across all age groups this season. This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication and perseverance of our committee members, with a special mention to Nancy Davidson Minichiello, and the continuous support and encouragement from Josephine La Pila over the past seven years. With the recent addition of Sophie Byrnes to the team, we are thrilled to announce that we are the first club in the northern suburbs to receive our two-star certificate.

Embracing the integration of women and girls

CCFC has been accredited as a 1 star Game Changer Club by Football Victoria.

Also CCFC is now accredited as a GOLD MEDAL club, thanks to the hard work of all our volunteers/committee. This means we are promoting healthy eating, managing alcohol, smoke free areas and tackling illegal drugs.
